Voter Service Team
League works to empower all Boulder County citizens to engage in our election processes
Presidential Primary Election

Our first Voter Registration Drive (
will be on
, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and training will start promptly at 9:30 a.m.
• You must register in advance. On our Home page under Upcoming Events click on the
January 25 VRD training
• Anyone taking the VRD training is asked to commit to volunteer at a minimum of three VRD events in 2020—typically 2 or 2.5 hours each.
• There will be plenty of VRD volunteer opportunities between February and October 2020!
NOTE: The Colorado Secretary of State requires
training for all persons participating in VRDs.

LWVBC's Voter Service Team
works to ensure that every citizen
registers to vote;
makes informed election choices; and
votes in every election.
Voter Service Team activities include:
Voter Information and Registration Tables:
Trained volunteers register voters, distribute brochures and answer questions
regarding registration, election matters and League programs at farmer's markets and other public venues.
(for Boulder County & its municipalities):
Volunteers research, write and publish information on the
to assist voters in understanding the objectives and pros vs. cons of ballot issues. They also deliver neutral presentations about the ballot proposals in public meetings.
The LWVBC organizes public forums where candidates for elective office are invited to speak and answer questions posed by the audience through a moderator.
This LWV service assists voters in assessing candidates and ballot proposals prior to each general election, We submit questions to Boulder County candidates and their un-edited responses are posted at
our research on
Boulder County ballot issues.
