2024 General Election - Tuesday November 5

How to Register and Vote

How, when, and where do I vote?

Registering to Vote

Are you registered to vote? Did you move? Change your party or your name?

You can register or update your registration in whatever way is convenient for you:

Voting

All registered voters get a ballot in the mail. You have three ways to vote:

  1. Mail your ballot by Monday October 28.
  2. Drop off your ballot at a 24 hour ballot drop box starting Friday October 11.
  3. Vote in person or drop off your ballot at a Vote Center after October 21 and before 7:00 PM on Election Day..

Don't forget to sign the back of your return envelope and be sure to use the return envelope you received in the mail with your ballot. This envelope is unique to you! (Your envelope tells the Registrar of Voters that you placed a vote. Your ballot will be separated from the envelope so your vote stays anonymous.) If you don't live alone, double check that you have the correct return envelope.

Tracking Your Ballot

Sign up for BallotTrax to get tracking notifications when your ballot is mailed, received, and counted.
