Next week, we have the opportunity to learn about our rights in a forum led by Michael Dougherty, District Attorney, on Monday, 16 February, at the United Church of Christ in Longmont.    
 
We can also get an early taste of the Sundance Film Festival at a showing of 'American Pachuco: The Legend of Luis Valdez', an award-winning film showing on Wednesday, 18 February, at the Longmont Museum.

Wednesday, February 18 - FilmAmerican Pachuco: The Legend of Luis Valdezis showing at the Longmont Museum courtesy of Commissioner Loachamin and Sundance Film Festival. The film, which details Luis Valdez’s fight to bring Chicano storytelling from the fields to the film screen,won the Festival Favorite Award and Audience Award for U.S. Documentary at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
