| Members and Friends !
Now is the time for all of us to make our voices heard.
As individuals, you can tell your representatives (or any other representatives for that matter) what course of events you support and what you oppose. You might think that a single email won't count, but it does. Our representatives and officials do need to hear from you, and they record the number of contacts. If you are in agreement, your representative needs the support. If you are in disagreement, that representative needs your guidance.
Visit the Elected Officials page on the LWVBC website. You have Senators, Representatives, State Elected Officials, City Council Members, County Commissioners and more.
How to Speak Out:
Phone calls
Emails
Social Media Posts
Letters to the Editor
Attend Community Events
Participate in Peaceful Demonstrations
How to Keep Up on Issues:
The LWVCO News Access & Literacy Task Force provides resources for identifying and avoiding misinformation and disinformation.
This is your democracy, and now is the time to participate in saving it.
