Doing Democracy Day

Thursday, March 11, 2026, 8:00AM-3:00PM

Doing Democracy Day is multi-community, multi-school event. St. Vrain Valley high school students work with local leaders and volunteers like you to address AI in Schools, Cell Phone Bans, Preventing School Violence, Regulating E-Bikes, Regulating Tobacco Products, and Use of Surveillance Cameras. Students finish the day by proposing solutions to a panel of local leaders serving as judges.

The League of Women Voters of Boulder County will share information at the event. If you are interested in youth engagement or building civic capacity, drop in to see democracy in action.

The LWVBC doesn't need volunteers for this event, but the organizers may. If interested in volunteering:

12:15-3:00 pm......... Be a judge as teams present their positions on issues
