Colorado Joins Suit to Protect Mail Ballots

The Colorado has joined 23 other states and the District of Columbia in suing the United States Postal Service to stop the Postal Service from limiting who can receive a mail ballot.

Earlier rulings have allowed the Postal Service to continue implementing plans to restrict mailing services for mail-in voting because the plans were still uncertain.  Because the Postal Service has now published an advance copy of a final rule, those plans are more firm and should be subject to court injunction.
