We need your help to demand that Congress reject additional funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Congress just released the first step of a fast-track legislative process to allocate an additional $70 billion to ICE and CBP, and the Senate could begin voting on these spending levels today. While we’ve been pushing back against additional funding for federal immigration efforts for months, these next few weeks are pivotal.
In the wake of last year’s One Big Beautiful Bill granting an unprecedented more than $170 billion to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its subagencies, ICE and CBP, as well as to the Department of Defense to expand immigration and border enforcement activities, the request for the allocation of additional taxpayer dollars is, at best, grossly fiscally irresponsible.
The Administration’s coordinated anti-immigrant policies continue, and Congress — our elected officials — have the power to stand up and reject this agenda. Contact your members today to help us demand that Congress reject more ICE and CBP funding, and send the message to three friends to magnify your impact.
