Climate Justice Forum
Zonta Foothills | Published on 4/11/2026
Climate change threatens those human rights... the right to life, food, water, health, education, livelihood, and safety.
Climate change disproportionately affects women and girls, and action is needed from a gender equality perspective. That’s why Zonta International and the Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder County pledge to empower women and girls globally and locally, to ensure a fair and human rights-based approach to solve the crisis of climate crisis.
Our inspiring panel of experts will discuss how their work helps us understand climate change -- its effects on women, girls, and our community -- and the progress being made.
Meet leaders from local nonprofits and other organizations to learn about their impact in our community. The conversation will be moderated by KC Becker, who was the Environmental Protection Agency Administrator (2021-2024), Speaker of the CO House (2019-2021), CO State Representative (2013-2021), and Boulder City Council member 2009-2013. Our Panelists will be:
Ashley Stolzmann - Boulder County District 3 Commissioner, climate activist
KK DuVivier - Prof. DU Sturm College of Law, Adjunct Prof. CU Law School - Renewable Energy, Natural Resources Law
Lucy Molina - Environmental Justice activist, Adams County District 14 (Commerce City) Board of Education
Tiffany Boyd - Executive Director and Founder, Classrooms for Climate Action, retired educator
