Seeking Two Voter Service Coordinators!





It's time to get ready for the 2020 Election year and we need your help!
We are seeking to fill two roles: Voter Registration Drive (VRD) Coordinator and Voter Service (VS) Youth Coordinator.  If you have a passion for registering and educating voters as well as a desire to become more active in Voter Service, we hope that you will submit a letter of interest to VoterService@lwvbc.org by 5:00 p.m. on 1/18/20.




Voter Registration Drive (VRD) Coordinator
This is an unpaid, volunteer position requiring a time commitment of 2 to 4 hrs. per week, depending on the time of year.  The VRD Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling VRDs throughout Boulder County in 2020, posting upcoming VRDs for trained volunteer participation, and arranging for pick-up and return of VRD supplies from VRD events.  The ability to remain non-partisan in public communications is essential. The VRD Coordinator must be a LWVBC member, have VRD experience and the ability to organize, train and lead a team of volunteers. The VRD Coordinator will work closely with the Voter Service Director.  The successful candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills and a passion for registering and educating voters. Training for this position will be provided. Letters expressing interest in the position and detailing relevant experience should be emailed to VoterService@lwvbc.org by 5:00 p.m. on January 18, 2020.

Voter Service (VS) Youth Coordinator
This is an unpaid, volunteer position requiring a time commitment of 1.5 to 3 hrs. per week during the school year.  The VS Youth Coordinator will be responsible for the scheduling voter registration drives (VRDs) and registering youth, 16-19 years of age at high schools and non-profits throughout Boulder County in 2020.   The VS Youth Coordinator must be a LWVBC member, have VRD experience and a schedule allowing for meetings and conduct of drives, M-F during school hours. The ability to remain non-partisan in public communications is essential.  The VS Youth Coordinator must be comfortable doing public speaking and have social media experience. The VS Coordinator will be responsible for leading a team of trained VRD volunteers. The VRD Coordinator will work closely with the LWVBC Voter Service Director and High School liaisons.  The successful candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills and a passion for registering and educating young voters. The successful candidate must undergo a criminal background check. Training for this position will be provided. Letters expressing interest in the position and detailing relevant experience should be emailed to VoterService@lwvbc.org by 5:00 p.m. on January 18, 2020.
