The Longmont Observer and the League of Women Voters of Boulder County are hosting the only debate between Dr. Karen McCormick and Representative Ken Buck who are vying to represent the 4th Congressional District, which includes Longmont, in the 116th Congress. The debate will be held on October 6, 2018, from 2-3:30 p.m., with doors opening at 1:30 p.m., at the Stewart Auditorium located in the Longmont Museum, 400 Quail Rd., Longmont. The Longmont Museum is a partner in the event.

There are 230 seats available, seating is first come first served. The Longmont Observer will be live streaming the debate to Facebook; Longmont Channel 8 will be broadcasting the debate to local channel 8.

- Audience members will be asked to remain silent during the debate, and to refrain from reactions of any kind including clapping and booing.
- Weapons of any kind are prohibited by the Longmont Museum
- Audio and video recording is not permitted.
